Ingredients
Pie filling
- 4 cups apples, chopped
- 2 tbsp corn starch
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp edible lavender buds
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 pie crust
Streusel Topping
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup butter, diced

Instructions
Pie filling
- Peel and core apples and process in food processer to desired apple size.
- Toss apples in large bowl with remaining pie filling ingredients and fill pie crust.
- Sprinkle streusel topping evenly.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour, 15 minutes. When the crust is golden, and there is a hint of bubbling in the filling, the pie is done. Make with love, share, and enjoy!
Streusel topping
- In medium bowl, mix dry ingredients.
- Mix in diced butter with fork or electric mixer.
Recipe Notes
My children prefer smaller chunks of apples. Delicious topped with vanilla ice-cream and Carmel!
